Taxation is a difficult issue to tackle.  I refuse to make empty promises that I will immediately cut all taxes, but I do promise to work for tax decreases.  Unfortunately, so many of the services on which our quality of life depends, like fire departments, school boards, and public works, are funded by our tax dollars.  To ensure these services are available for all citizens, taxation is necessary; however, to decrease the burden on residential property owners, I will support attracting new commercial businesses to build the tax base.  I will also review frivolous taxes already in Florida Statues and look for new ways to generate revenue.
